Opening Ceremony — A Powerful Start
The event opened with great enthusiasm and a colorful ceremony attended by players, coaches, and sports officials.
Dr. Hamid Khurshid, President of the Poonch Volleyball Association, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing youth development, teamwork, and discipline in sports.
“This tournament symbolizes the energy, unity, and determination of Poonch’s youth — who are the true ambassadors of our district,” said Dr. Hamid Khurshid.
Intense Matches and Unmatched Spirit
Over three action-packed days, 40 volleyball clubs competed fiercely in nearly 70 thrilling matches. Players showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, captivating audiences throughout.
Despite the shorter autumn days, all matches were completed efficiently during daylight hours — a testament to the discipline and management of the organizing team.
The Grand Finale — Youth Power at Its Peak
The final match on 19th October 2025 between United Club Hurnamera and Youth Club Miralgal Banjonsa was a thrilling contest that highlighted the true essence of youth volleyball.
After an intense battle, United Club Hurnamera claimed victory, becoming the Under-20 District Champions 2025.
Chief Guest’s Address — Encouraging Youth Talent
The Chief Guest, Sardar Zubair Khan, CEO of The Spire Mall, graced the closing ceremony and praised the outstanding efforts of the players and organizers.
“The dedication and sportsmanship shown by these young athletes reflect the bright sporting future of AJK,” said Sardar Zubair Khan during his address.
